The East Caribbean Group of Companies established the ECGC Foundation Inc. on May 19, 2015 with the aim of creating opportunities for education and health care for the less fortunate persons within our Vincentian Society.  As an organization, we believe that a comprehensive approach to meeting people’s needs and providing them with positive choices can bring about meaningful life changing experiences.

On 14 September, 2016, Mr. Osmond Davy, the Foundation‘s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the East Caribbean Group of Companies, was elated to make the very first monetary donation to the following three individuals needing medical assistance – Mr. Raffique Soleyn, Mr. Kingsley Barbour and Ms. Tiffany Hepburn. Mr. Davy indicated that “although the donations would not cover all the costs, it would certainly go a long way in easing the financial burdens brought on by the illnesses”.

The Foundation was officially launched on February 02, 2016 and is currently managed by a Board of Directors consisting of persons with varying backgrounds and expertise in areas such as education, law, medicine, social work and accounting.

The Board of Directors of the ECGC Foundation Inc. aspires to continue to play a meaningful role in helping people and takes this opportunity to wish the recipients full recovery.
